Presenting the Second Place finisher in the Hobby Wreck Challenge; Reid with his destroyed Land Raider.
I wanted to showcase the second place finisher in his own post, so nothing is taken away from either of the two entries.

A little while ago I did a tutorial on my Pre-Heresy Iron Fists Army, but I left one model out- my Librarian.
Today we're going to take a look how I made him, and how you can make your own (as there is no model for the Power Armor Librarian right now- sad pandas)

Well Jkin has been at it again. He's taking a small break from his Thousand Sons army and working on something new.
Now instead of making some Astartes look noble, he's afflicting a their vehicles with Nurgle's Rot. I'm sold, because boy does it look good so far!

Hey guys welcome back. Today I'm going to go over step by step how I painted up my Chaos Space Marine Death Guard models for an upcoming Apocalypse Game.
It was really simple and took about 4-5 hours total for each squad of ten, which I thought for the end result was great. Keep in mind they are Nurgle so there is "perfect" involved, messy is just fine.

Welcome back to another polite rant/ clarification about a topic I feel very strongly about, the Necron Leak by Beast of War.
First of all I wanted to clear up several serious points that were bugging me. I do not think the leak was a bad thing for the hobby, personally I enjoyed seeing the photos and can not wait for them to hit in a few short weeks.

Well my Iron Hands Terminators got some paint on them recently and are looking pretty good! I can't wait to get these guys on the tabletop!
I started with my Pre-Heresy styled models and converted them up a little after I wrote that article, before adding paint.

Entries are due today for the Hobby Wreck Challenge, so get those wrecks finished up, and post em up over on the BoLS lounge.
Last August I was able to get some pics of Dan Johnson's Amazing True Scale Night Lords army while we were all at the last Games Day in Baltimore.
Unfortunately the light in the hotel was kinda crap and they didn't turn out the best. Eventually he made his way by the store for a weekend, and I got better pics.

So I cornered Jkin the other day, to get pics of his Pre-Heresy styled Ahriman for his Scarab Occult army, and boy does it rock.

Mechanized Imperial Guard has been a strong build pretty much since it's release. I started running it shortly thereafter with my Looted Guard, and did very well with the army over the past few years (most recently going 6-1 and winning the American Team Championships).
