Surprise! New 40k Releases for FEB!

Funny how things stay relatively under-wraps when it's not put in the White Dwarf to be leaked all over the world by Wayland Games' newsletter division: Beasts of War.

One could even say this release was a test just to see if those leaks would be plugged?

Seems to have worked.

I was notified today by Games Workshop that there will be "new" splash releases for Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Chaos, and Orks this month.

What exactly they will be I can not say at this point, (because I respect the rules GW has in place for us retailers) BUT if I were a betting man I would say it will be a bundle deal with a good discount.

More when it's allowed. -MBG

    Yup.
Sorry MBG, but there was a bit of a leak already. Not saying you should be posting about this, but it appears the plug wasn't entirely filled (though I guess you have to tell retail sellers about upcoming releases  eventuaaaally, so they did as best of a job as they could).

  2. Well it was better than a month? before with the Necrons. Sigh....

    Very true.
I kind of wish GW would go back to the 2 month advance email on big releases (such as codices and large 2nd waves). I understand they want people to buy their newest releases before hearing about "Oh, my favorite army is being updated!" but I never want to buy anything not knowing what is coming out soon!

  4. A bundle is not a new release.  This is nothing for me to get excited over, unfortunately.  I already have all the (blanks) and (blanks) I'll ever need.  (Attempting to respect your wish not to "snitch" on the release, there.)

  5. The only thing that matches those 4 armies is the rumoured squad+transport bundles already leaked on net.

    Nothing to write home about!

  6. This was leaked a week or so ago, it's just a troops choice with a transport for a modest saving.

  7. Keep in mind this post was scheduled this morning, before whatever news broke wherever. So yeah, it would have been something to write home about.

  8. Wow, just get over the beasts of War thing already...

  9. Huh, oh well just got the email. Musta missed the rumors.
