Seems to have worked.
I was notified today by Games Workshop that there will be "new" splash releases for Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Chaos, and Orks this month.
What exactly they will be I can not say at this point, (because I respect the rules GW has in place for us retailers) BUT if I were a betting man I would say it will be a bundle deal with a good discount.

ReplyDeleteSorry MBG, but there was a bit of a leak already. Not saying you should be posting about this, but it appears the plug wasn't entirely filled (though I guess you have to tell retail sellers about upcoming releases eventuaaaally, so they did as best of a job as they could).
Well it was better than a month? before with the Necrons. Sigh....

ReplyDeleteI kind of wish GW would go back to the 2 month advance email on big releases (such as codices and large 2nd waves). I understand they want people to buy their newest releases before hearing about "Oh, my favorite army is being updated!" but I never want to buy anything not knowing what is coming out soon!
A bundle is not a new release. This is nothing for me to get excited over, unfortunately. I already have all the (blanks) and (blanks) I'll ever need. (Attempting to respect your wish not to "snitch" on the release, there.)

This was leaked a week or so ago, it's just a troops choice with a transport for a modest saving.
