Obviously, I made this conversion from a Stormtalon and a Defiler.
What is an assault walker you ask? Well I don't exactly know yet, to be honest, but I envision a baby titan that can fit in places tanks and big titans cant.
I already have a ton more work done on this guy, hopefully I can finish it up tonight!
But for now what do you think, arms or no arms? And if arms... Dreadknight sword holding arms or more conventional weapons? -MBG

Awesome! Although I think Defiler legs would work better.

That is genius mate, really jealous =) As for weapons i personally would stay away from weapon holding arms as I belive it would look like a malformed transformer! although saying that it could look like something off macross...Damn confused myself. Great work tho!
ReplyDeleteNo arms, and the feet look to small imo.
ReplyDeleteSlap some bigger feet on that thing and you'll have a good looking walker, either that or have 4 legs.
ReplyDeleteHave to agre with Mike, feet are a bit small, I think a Drill would look good as a weapon/tool. I can imagine it cutting through a fortress wall and then unleashing a salvo of rockets and assault cannon fire in the gap.
ReplyDeleteNo Arms. I am fine with the small feet. Makes it look nimble
ReplyDeleteIn the pic the feet do look a bit small. In person, they look fine. I still think the arms should be back further though Rob... But just my $.02
ReplyDeleteIt looks like how I picture Knight Class Titans to me
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I say no arms, though. Make it look like a Gecko from Metal Gear Solid 4.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!I l like it!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a Madcat!
ReplyDeleteGack! Why such tiny feet?
ReplyDeleteOther then that, looks good.
Im not a fan of the arms, personally I look at your walker and think.... http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Warhammer40k/AdMech/Knight.jpg
ReplyDeleteBut I've always liked knights.
Awesome sauce...
ReplyDeleteNo arms! What are the legs from?
ReplyDeleteI'd say go with arms otherwise a little to star-wars-y.
ReplyDeleteAlso arms fits in with the aesthetic common to dreadnaughts, knight titans, and titan. But i'd say conventional weapon-arms rather than dreadknight type arms. Arms like titans and knight-titans have
Definitely, make it look like the tarantula from mechwarrior 2
ReplyDeleteBad angle. Feet are fine trust me.
ReplyDeletethose ARE defiler legs if im not wrong :P
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteYup :P
ReplyDeleteit reminds me of a Catapult from Battletech, it's the "Cat" part of a "MadCat" that you had a comment from previously.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, with the way that you have the weapon laid out, it looks much better WITHOUT the arms. BTW, those missile pods are awsome, and although I'm sure I"m going to be embarrassed for asking this, but what are they from?
As for the feet, if there is a way to make the toes a little bit bigger, I would try to do it, they do look a little small.
You know, the other funny thing is that the Storm Talon looks better as a walker then it does a Gunship...Too bad they don't really have that option! ;-)
reminds me a bit of this:

arms, with defiler claws. BOOSH
