Say Weren't Those Dark Vengeance Terminators?

Welcome to Army of One, where I display a great looking painted model from stuff I've done or amazing figures I've seen around.

If you click on the Army of One label you'll be able to scroll through some great looking figures, all at once.

Today we take a look at some pretty sweet Crimson Fists conversions that were on display at Giga Bites Cafe in Atlanta, GA.

Come of these even appear to be the Dark Vengeance Terminators sans Angel heraldry, not an easy task to convert IMHO.  Nice conversion, and paint job! -Enjoy MBG

  1. It's a shame they went to all that effort, and didn't bother to drill out the gun barrels..

  2. GAH! The barrels!
Also, why does that last one look so insanely unfinished, especially compared to the rest? Why would you take photos before he was done?
Aside from that, this must have taken a HELL of a lot of work, there is a lot there to remove to make them look much less DA like. Aside from the couple of things mentioned above, this is a damn nice (and determined) piece of conversion/alteration work.

  9. fluff wise: crimson fist fighting alongside DA in a great crusade of some sort....or it'd be easy to clean up those DA symbols.....and simply repaint the scraped section (if careful one could do it without messing up details.....i know i could do it ....but i prefer mine to remain DA for now)

  10. Not really, they're more part of the same question.

  11. Something I find very odd is that they did an excellent job modding these minis so they could be something other than Dark Angels, yet didn't take the time to drill out the gun barrels.
