Wild West Squats- Armies on Parade

Welcome to Armies on Parade, where I display (in hopefully good detail) some great looking armies from major tournaments all across the United States.

If you click on the Armies on Parade label you'll be able to scroll through some great looking armies, all at once.

It's like you were at a major event yourself, all from the comfort of your home or smart phone!

Today we have a great looking Space Marine Squat army that was on display at Gamers' Haven in Colorado Springs, Co. Very cool stuff. As I understand it this army's owner had only been playing for a short time before he decided to collect and play them -Enjoy MBG

If you like this Space Marine Army, be sure to checkout these Lava-Themed Salamanders.

  1. Any idea where the (I'm assuming) Librarian model is from ( the one with the back banner with "Y R")? The arms are SM, but the body/face/legs don't look familiar. Maybe green stuff? Anyone know?

  2. Could very well be one of the Warpath Forgefathers models. they have quite a decent range of "space dwarves" which look pretty good.
    Can't be 100% sure, though :S

  3. Such a cool little army. Love some of the conversions he has going on there. So, judging by the description, i'd be assuming he uses Codex: Space Marines to field them??

  4. It's not a Forgefather model, it's a squat Exo armor model like the others. He's had that Librarian since before Mantic was a company.I used to frequent the store.

  5. Nope, Codex: Dark Angels. It's a Deathwing army.

  9. Hi guys, my name is Troy Greeley and the Squat army above is mine.I use the Codex Dark Angels and use the army as a Deathwing Terminator army. Creating the army was alot of fun. The librarian model is from the old Bob olley stuff. I am glad you all like it. I am working on my Squat Imperial Guard army now. Once I get some stuff done, I will post pics. Thanks all!
