Justicar Alaric posted this up recently, and WOW! Nice, uh mutations? -Enjoy MBG
Spikey Bits is a blog about the hobby of Warhammer 40k and Fantasy Battles, both tabletop wargames. I try to cover all of the aspects of that hobby from converting and painting models to actually playing the game.
By nature I am a competitive tournament player, but my true passion is converting and painting. I will spend more time making a figure than actually playing with it, lol.
The aim of this blog it to keep me motivated to produce new work, and to share my experiences along the way. I very much value all feedback about my work, and will answer any questions about it.
Feel free to send me an email or post a comment about anything on here.
However please no cursing, first offenses will be edited, second offense results in a ban. You can disagree with me of course, just don't curse!

And of course she's almost naked.
ReplyDeleteNow if only GW made these.
ReplyDeleteCorrupted Sister of Battle?
ReplyDeleteThis would get me to play CSM... too much macho man bulk as it is. But GW wouldn't be able to do the model justice... would have to be Wyrd or Kingdom Death.
ReplyDeleteyes, because that's perfectly battle appropriate. "Our enemies guns fire small missiles." "I'm gonna wear the bikini! 'Cuz I'm evil."
ReplyDeleteSo ummm...what the Armor save on Bikini Armor?
ReplyDeletehasnt anyone ever heard of cultist chan? least...i think that was her name. regardless, original chaos lady person!
ReplyDeleteThis is relevent to my intrests,
ReplyDeleteChaos causes all other sorts of mutations, why not a gender swap? Daemon Princess of Slaanesh?
ReplyDeleteIl be honest, id risk not shooting it.
ReplyDeleteIf I might blow my own trumpet a tiny bit: http://majere613.deviantart.com/art/Emperor-s-Children-63rd-Company-Noise-Marines-II-349502027
ReplyDeleteSweet picture, shame it's a bit too revealing. A bit of skin is OK, but this goes a bit too far to be appealing.
ReplyDeleteHAH! Jokes on you, that isn't a female.
ReplyDelete"It's a trap!"
Slaanesh gave him a nice pair of mutations. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteShe's got a Cheesecake Field that works much like Terminator armor. At 34 points a piece unarmed these may be as common as the Space Wolves own Wolfguard. May I present to you CSoB Foxguard.
ReplyDelete6+ if Lelith Hesperax is anything to go by. Might be 5+ because pauldrons.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought cause of the eye tat.
ReplyDeleteGW don't have to make sexy figure. it's a serious company that owns a serious game. But if you really want a sexy character in your army go look on third party figure maker. I myself think that it would be pretty funny to have a female Space marine in a sexy outfit but if it were from GW i think they'd lost any credibility they have. If you want to personalize your army with sexy chicks you should do it with other company figures IMO.
ReplyDeleteWell, I do like the image, of course she is sexy and everything but the bikini outfit is still.. just not cool. Funny, yeah, hot, yes but I would prefer seeing more serious chicks. I am looking forward to the Raging Heroes TGG Kickstarter and been glad that the girls aren't looking slutty at the moment. But I still would like to see that here happen somewhere. The Kingdom Death KS had some damn hot girls and there she would fit.
ReplyDeleteBut that beside, I think GW should make more females, since there minis don't look that good imo and if she would stick to the art (I think of face and pose, since female heads are often bad) perfect. But I think GW will continue the boring course and I will continue buying other lines.
speaking of which... http://www.spikeybits.com/servlet/the-Raging-Heroes/Categories?ncat=Raging+Heroes
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I thought of making noise marine "counts as" types with wyches as S&M cultists with armor-like tolerance for physical abuse, but i hadn't thought of bulking up their armor -- good work!
ReplyDelete"It's just a flesh wound!"
ReplyDeleteThere's a difference?
ReplyDeleteIt's a trap!
ReplyDeleteAhem ya dark eldar are pretty revealing (wyches)
ReplyDeleteconsidering Refractor feilds and other personal sheild emitting devices, its a little bit less ludicrous than normal....until said sheild/field breaks!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm talking about
ReplyDeletePersonally, no logic in the armour. Also considering how Chaotically aligned the armour and gear is I would have expected to see some mutation or corruption in the skin and body.
ReplyDeleteAlso, bikini power armour. Why???
Marine or Fallen Battle Sister?
ReplyDeleteLOL.
ReplyDeleteWarhammer "serious game".
Everything in 40k is and has always been over the top and nonsensical.
This fits in fairly well.
you peeps are silly.. I mean Daemanette's basically go nekkid in the field. The whacked out repentia do as well pretty much. Maybe she's a corrupted SOB for slaanesh?
ReplyDeleteAnd the sarcasm is strong with this one. It's a scifi game. Where you have nekkid people pretty much all over. Daemanette's, Repentia, Dark eldar. Orks.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly or a corrupted SOB of slaanesh.
ReplyDeleteOr Forge.
